Homeless II

Sacramento, just as in LA ,has a river, and alongside the river there is a bikepath. A very nice bikepath too. In between the two, live the homeless in tents. I did not take photos of them out of respect for their privacy. However, the city, supported by its police force, did a "cleanup" job. Not a nice scene. I remember discussing the homeless with my Long Island  host. He understood my socialist concerns, but his were about the drugs. 'Stigma' I thought to myself.
Today, while making my way through the city task force, I overheard the policeman warning one of the cleaners not to touch the needles with his hands.
